Organizers can take advantage of a range of funding opportunities, depending on the scheduled dates for their event. As of July 1, 2022, a new funding measure, the Vienna Meeting Fund 2022-2024, will come into effect. It is aimed at organizers of association congresses and corporate events who are planning to organize meetings in Vienna between 2022 and 2024.
Also accepting applications from December 15, 2022, the Vienna Convention Fund 2025+ will offer funding for international association congresses (scheduled to take place in and after 2025). Both funds are designed to provide assistance with costs incurred when hosting events in Vienna.
The Vienna Meeting Fund 2021-2023 has already expired, as it has been completely exhausted.
A new de minimis regulation will apply from 1 January 2024.
